Marieke de Visscher

Marieke is a Board Director at ClusterFree. She is the former Co-Director of Effective Altruism Netherlands and is currently on a career orientation sabbatical. She also serves on the board of OPIS, an organisation dedicated to the prevention of intense suffering, and on the founding board of the Dutch Network for AI Safety.

Previously, Marieke was a board member (in some cases a founding member) at various foundations, including Doneer Effectief and De Geefrevolutie. Prior to that, she worked as a consultant in healthcare tech for a decade. She completed her secondary education in Singapore and studied Business Administration and Health Sciences in Amsterdam. She has also taken the 10% Pledge.
